SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
SAT consists of two parts - SAT I (Reasoning test) and SAT II (Subject

sections. SAT II is divided into different subjects: Writing,
Literature, US History, World History, Math IC, Math IIC, Biology,
Chemistry, Physics and Languages. On a given test date either SAT I or
SAT II can be taken (up to 3 Subjects tests can be taken). The test is
administered 6 times a year and the registration takes place at the
Information center on a previously appointed date, always Saturday,
from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. The SAT I fee is 46 USD and for the SAT-II it
depends on the type and number of Subject tests; the registration fee
is 7 leva.
Not all the colleges and universities require SAT scores, the more
prestigious however always do and SAT-I and SAT-II are absolutely
necessary when applying for scholarship.
